Finally Finished?

Today, I'm going to see if I can finally complete my Masters. Some of you might remember when I quit my job and went back to school. I landed in biomedical engineering by pure luck and, after taking all the coursework, I started working at my former job as part of my thesis work. That thesis project fell by the wayside as, one by one, the people involved in the project left my former company. I had long abandoned the project as well, since it seemed to be leading no where in particular.

That was six years ago. Today, I'm headed back to school to take advantage of a second option that has come available. They are now offering a non-thesis option in the same program. This means that I need to have 3 credit hours more than and won't require the thesis work. I have many many redit hours and my professor tells me that it's a matter of paperwork at this point. I'm going there to make sure that this is correct and to get the process started, if not completed.

I'll try and let you all know how it goes. It'll be the ending of a chapter in my life that has overlapped so many others and a load off my mind.

Here's to ending the right things at the right time!

Hope it went well, E.
I often wish were 30 years
younger and better off financially
so I could afford to take a serious
run at getting my Masters.

Of course, if I make it to 65 I can go back to the state colleges tuition
free, if they haven't changed the law by then,

You go for it, dude!
